Summertime is here for sure...

So this week definately felt like summer.. And I love summer.

Tank tops and flip-flops.. Hanging with friends.. Wasting time at the mall.. Laying around watching tv. Laying outside attepmting to tan.. Yeah.. I cant wait to see what else this summer will bring. Haha..

Unfortunately Ash goes back to MI tomorrow afternoon and I am kinda wasting this time by writing this post but whatevaaaa.. Were not doing anything at the moment..

Anywaysss.. Today was pretty much amazing and like old times. We got up and got ready and went to the mall(for the 5 time this week)! We picked out some ugly outfits and dresses for eachother and tried them on and took pictures! hahah.. Example below.. Hahah.. Anyways.. After that I took her to Romano's as a super late graduation gift. Then we wasted some time at B&N.. I say wasted because I didnt read or buy anything.. Hah.. We stopped by Walmart and then came home and put some pictures on facebook. :) Then for dinner Pop asked us to meet him at Panda Express!! :D It was great.. i really enjoyed today.. I am really gonna be missing Ashlay over the summer.. oh well.. Hopefully I will be able to hang out with more friends over the summer.. Im really excited to be hanging out with Joel especially.. cuz other than school and church we really havent gotten to hang out much since last summer.. okay getting boring again, yes? Okay.. Im getting tired. off to have more stupid moments with Ash. :D haha..

Unofficial "Woah, I'm graduated" post. ;)

Okay so i will probably write another post soonish telling about the graduation and everything that happened this day but for now this is what you get.. I am still very tired.. Its been a crazy long week.

Soooo.. I'm graduated. I am officially done with high school. This is crazy. Haha.. I don't know what to do with myself.. So I'm applying for jobs at a lot of different places..
Anyways.. Today was freaking amazing. A bunch of family came into town.. :) Ash has been here for a few days and we've been having lotsa fun! Ian from Fay showed up today and kinda surprised me. Oh and Joely and I finally got a decent picture!



Yes, I believe this is one of my favorite pictures of all time.. (Besides several I have of Ashlay and me.) And to think it almost didn't get taken! I was about to leave and Joely found me before I was able to and suggested we take a picture.. I am very glad we did. :)

But yeah.. I messed up some things during the graduation and they were actually kinda amusing but it wasn't anything too bad. ;)

Today was a good day.. Thank you to all of you who gave me encouraging notes or sent encouraging texts. Love you guysss.

Madness. I love it.

Less than 36 hours until my best friend in the whole wide world is here.
Less than 96 hours until I am a high school graduate.
Less than 3 months until I start college.

All this change is crazy..
My crazy senior year ended yesterday.. Coaching and playing club volleyball finished this weekend. Classes finished on thursday.. And all I have to say is I don't wanna grow up!

I feel as if I'm entering the unknown.. I'll be making my own decisions and getting a real job. My first decision of (almost) official adulthood is that boys=friends nothing more. Haha this past weekend helped me to decide that.. I'm going to try to keep it that way for a while.. We will see how that works out. ;) haha anywaysss.. I'm telling you about boring life things again. Oh well, Eon asked for it. Lol. I'll get into Jordan's topic suggestion soon enough.. It's been too long a weekend and I haven't gotten enough sleep to go into detail of why I like photography tonight.. In fact, if this post is confusing at all I will blame it on extreme exhaustion. ;)

You know who you are.

Heyo guysss, so this past weekend I have been at a tournament in Richmond, VA. I'm writing this on the Saturday but I doubt it will be posted until I get home on monday because of a lack of wifi in the hotel rooms..

So I'm here with my volleyball team.. No family, no close friends and it's kinda weird.. I'm feeling out of my element. Today was funnish even tho we lost both games of the day.. We got to watch alot of guys volleyball. :) but yeah, soooo these gals can be kinda crazy at times depending on the time of day and who I'm with.. Idk it's just strange. I'm used to being with my family or my friends all the time.. Not used to being with a bunch of (sometimes) crazy girls with boyfriend problems, or being hit on my Vball guys or just being here by myself(kinda) making alot of my own decisions..

I was looking through my pictures on my iPod and was realizing how much I really miss my best friends.. Of course I miss my family too but for some reason I really miss my besties tonight! Even if I was back in NoVa I wouldn't see the friend that lives near me anyways cuz he is in Florida. I cannot wait until Ashlay comes to visit.. Around Joely and her I am so comfortable and am able to be myself and am not half mute. Haha
So yeah, if the besties (you know who you are) are reading this, miss you, love you, can't wait to see ya again.

sooo.. I was locked out of my house today


This is me.. Being locked out.. Hah it was loads of fun. Haha.. Jk. I used this time to check my Facebook and twitter and to take a picture of myself being locked out. :P anyways.. I should probably get to my precalc homework. :/ tomorrow is my last class!! :D oh and guess what?!? Ashlay and the hogans come and I graduate in less than two weeks!! :D

No, it is not some sort of evil doll. I have gotten that question so many times. Haha.. When I was on a missions trip to panama I made some friends with a few guys down there.. One of them made things out of wire. He made this and made a necklace out of it and wore it quite often. On the last day before we left he gave me a hug and took this off and gave it to me. I used to wear it all the time until the strap broke.

Okay so I'm gonna catch you up to what's been goin on the past few days. On Monday I was just busy studying. Tuesday I had chemistry, and mire studying and speech night! Oh we had to look nice and get all dressed up so I figured I'd put a picture up since I don't dress up like this too often.




Speech night was okay. I was nervous as heck but from what everyone said I still did well! :)

Today was spent in classes and studying. But a brief checking o Facebook brightened my day.



And this why he is my best friend.. Haha.. He is so unique.. Somehow he managed to combine several of our insiders into a little story. I love it! Haha..

Ireland, I have always been fascinated with it.. I think it started around the time when I read a Mandie book where she was visiting there..
Most of all I think I love the accent. I wouldn't mind being around it for a while. ;) maybe I'll just have to marry an Irish guy so i can hear it all the time! Bahahah.. Just kidding guys. ;)

Day 18 - A picture of your biggest insecurity

The way I think of the word insecurity was something that makes you embarrassed or it's something you don't want people to see.

The dictionary app "WordWeb" defines insecurity as:
The anxiety you experience when you feel vulnerable and insecure

That really makes more sense to me so that's how I'm gonna use the word. :)




There are two things that make me feel insecure. The first is public speaking. It absolutely terrifies me.




This is the second and I'm not exactly sure what to call it. I guess it is being left out. I'm halfway used to it because of moving every few years. It's hardish cuz when I move somewhere new everyone there already knows everyone else and I'm the stranger. I'm the new girl. I'm the outsider.

Okay anyways.. Enough about all that crap. ;) I don't like telling about that kinda stuff cuz it's always a downer and I try to keep my attitude up. :)

Day 17 - A picture of something that has made a huge impact on your life recently




College and end of high school decisions.. Realizing that im getting closer to the end of high school has made me work harder on my schoolwork and I've brought my grades up a bit. I'd say that's a pretty big impact.. For me it is at least cuz my grades normally stay around the same. Anyways...

I got a new (to me) car! :) Since I'm not having to borrow my parents cars all the time I am able to come and go pretty much whenever I need to now. :D
Omgggg! In exactly 28 days I will be a high school grad! :D

Amy Carmichael- check out her story. One thing that stuck out to me was there was something about her appearance that she didn't like (her eyes) and God had a reason for her eye color. she was able to do a certain kind of missions work in India because her eyes were brown instead of the color she wanted.. anyways.. I don't feel like going over the whole story so look her up. :)

~Day 8.. and stuff

So today was pretty amazing. I had fun in my heaven class.. It was very entertaining because the new youth pastor was in there giving his testimony and we were asking him some questions and stuff.. Someone asked him how long he has had a goatee.. and then we decided that he didnt have a goatee, he had a goatee, mustache combo. Haha..

After that i ran out to the van and got caught in the torrential downpour.. Im not sure if you can see it in the picture above but that was right after i came inside and i was completely soaked.. it ruined my freshly straightened hair but on the bright side, i put it up and it still ended up looking okay! :D

Then I basically got to skip out on my two study halls so I could practice my "How To" speech with Brent. When it was time for speech, Brent and I pretty much bombed the speech but at least the class found it entertaining. "And now we have some interesting cookie facts!" "Um.. no brent.. we already did those."

In yearbook "club"(as Joel calls it), one of the people in-charge brought all of us free pizza! It was so good.

Then I went to the gals soccer game and they won 7-0. Yeah.. they're beasts.. I think.. I dont really know. I dont exactly understand soccer.. Haha.. Honestly, my favorite part of the game was playing volleyball with Ben and Joel during halftime. :)

But yeahh.. that was my freakin awesome day... Oh and this sounds extremely trivial butttt... Im getting a tan!! It may only be a faint farmers tan but still... its a tan!! Hahah..

Okay, back to the challenge..

This was not too long after I met Ash.. We went ice skating with some friends but for some reason, she had some major difficulties tying her shoes. So being the amazing friends we were, Rachel and I tied them for her. Haha.. Night yall!

My most used item is definitely my iPod. Couldn't take a picture of my iPod cuz that is what I have used to take my pictures and blog.. But anyways I have my music, my email, my blog, the bible, Facebook, games and twitter on here.. I'm pretty sure that the usage is tied with if not more than that of my phone. Haha..

P. S. College update- Not going to LU in the fall. I'm either going to The local University or the local comm college. I would like to go to the university and the only thin holding me back is tuition problems. They classified me as being an out of state student even though I am living like 20 mins from it and def not out of state. Not gonna go into all the details but basically I have to file an appeal and the decision could take up to a month and there is still a possibility that I could still be classified as out of state. But anyways, I'm just asking for prayer to give me patience and for me to trust God no matter what happens with this situation. Thanks guys!

Hmm.. So I may have to skip day six.. I can't think of anyone I would really wanna trade places with.. Peoples lives may look very appealing on the outside but ya never know what's going on behind the scenes. Trust me, I know from experience.
I'll just use this post to remind you to go outta your way to be kind to someone today.. Wait no.. Probably tomorrow.. It's a bit late tonight... Wait that sounded odd.. It's never too late for kindness.. I guess what I'm trying to say is just be kind to some one and show them you care. Make an effort within the next few days to do that cuz ya never know what bit of kindness can do for a person. Just try it. :)

Day 05 – A picture of your favorite memory

Welllll.. I have so many to choose from.. So im thinking I may put up several pictures. :)


My bestest friend. :) After we both moved from NC I had not seen her for a looooong time. After almost a year we ended up being in the same city for a day so we met up. I was soooo glad that I got to spend that bit of time with her. This pic is from that day.. The first of many pictures we took that day. Haha



Okay so the day this picture was taken was soooo fun. I built a snowman with the ppl in the picture.. Got beaten pretty badly in a snowball fight when ben and Joel decided to gang up on me. Went out to eat at my Dave resturaunt with Joel and mark and then went to a play at the church with a bunch of my friends. :) it was like one of my fave days ever.. Coming in a close second to the day I got to see Ash recently. ;)


First place babyyy. :) we went to a tournament in PA for homeschoolers. We took first place and it felt so great because it was the first official games that I had played with these guys in a long time.

Oh I went to another tournament today and had so much fun with my friends.. esp Ben Joel and Brent. :)

I had a rock fight with Joely.. Oh yeah.. It was interesting. ;) I learned that rocks can hurt even when tossed.. Hahaha..
