So I was workin on my "Chemistry of Caffeine" board earlier and these were some of my drawings for it.. Not too shabby, eh?

~Day 8.. and stuff

So today was pretty amazing. I had fun in my heaven class.. It was very entertaining because the new youth pastor was in there giving his testimony and we were asking him some questions and stuff.. Someone asked him how long he has had a goatee.. and then we decided that he didnt have a goatee, he had a goatee, mustache combo. Haha..

After that i ran out to the van and got caught in the torrential downpour.. Im not sure if you can see it in the picture above but that was right after i came inside and i was completely soaked.. it ruined my freshly straightened hair but on the bright side, i put it up and it still ended up looking okay! :D

Then I basically got to skip out on my two study halls so I could practice my "How To" speech with Brent. When it was time for speech, Brent and I pretty much bombed the speech but at least the class found it entertaining. "And now we have some interesting cookie facts!" "Um.. no brent.. we already did those."

In yearbook "club"(as Joel calls it), one of the people in-charge brought all of us free pizza! It was so good.

Then I went to the gals soccer game and they won 7-0. Yeah.. they're beasts.. I think.. I dont really know. I dont exactly understand soccer.. Haha.. Honestly, my favorite part of the game was playing volleyball with Ben and Joel during halftime. :)

But yeahh.. that was my freakin awesome day... Oh and this sounds extremely trivial butttt... Im getting a tan!! It may only be a faint farmers tan but still... its a tan!! Hahah..

Okay, back to the challenge..

This was not too long after I met Ash.. We went ice skating with some friends but for some reason, she had some major difficulties tying her shoes. So being the amazing friends we were, Rachel and I tied them for her. Haha.. Night yall!

Day 07 - A picture of your most used item



My most used item is definitely my iPod. Couldn't take a picture of my iPod cuz that is what I have used to take my pictures and blog.. But anyways I have my music, my email, my blog, the bible, Facebook, games and twitter on here.. I'm pretty sure that the usage is tied with if not more than that of my phone. Haha..

P. S. College update- Not going to LU in the fall. I'm either going to The local University or the local comm college. I would like to go to the university and the only thin holding me back is tuition problems. They classified me as being an out of state student even though I am living like 20 mins from it and def not out of state. Not gonna go into all the details but basically I have to file an appeal and the decision could take up to a month and there is still a possibility that I could still be classified as out of state. But anyways, I'm just asking for prayer to give me patience and for me to trust God no matter what happens with this situation. Thanks guys!

Hmm.. So I may have to skip day six.. I can't think of anyone I would really wanna trade places with.. Peoples lives may look very appealing on the outside but ya never know what's going on behind the scenes. Trust me, I know from experience.
I'll just use this post to remind you to go outta your way to be kind to someone today.. Wait no.. Probably tomorrow.. It's a bit late tonight... Wait that sounded odd.. It's never too late for kindness.. I guess what I'm trying to say is just be kind to some one and show them you care. Make an effort within the next few days to do that cuz ya never know what bit of kindness can do for a person. Just try it. :)

Day 05 – A picture of your favorite memory

Welllll.. I have so many to choose from.. So im thinking I may put up several pictures. :)


My bestest friend. :) After we both moved from NC I had not seen her for a looooong time. After almost a year we ended up being in the same city for a day so we met up. I was soooo glad that I got to spend that bit of time with her. This pic is from that day.. The first of many pictures we took that day. Haha



Okay so the day this picture was taken was soooo fun. I built a snowman with the ppl in the picture.. Got beaten pretty badly in a snowball fight when ben and Joel decided to gang up on me. Went out to eat at my Dave resturaunt with Joel and mark and then went to a play at the church with a bunch of my friends. :) it was like one of my fave days ever.. Coming in a close second to the day I got to see Ash recently. ;)


First place babyyy. :) we went to a tournament in PA for homeschoolers. We took first place and it felt so great because it was the first official games that I had played with these guys in a long time.

Oh I went to another tournament today and had so much fun with my friends.. esp Ben Joel and Brent. :)

I had a rock fight with Joely.. Oh yeah.. It was interesting. ;) I learned that rocks can hurt even when tossed.. Hahaha..

In case you are wondering what the book is, it's my Chem textbook. The thing in my hand is my phone. I am doing everything I can to avoid having to do my homework including, writing this blog post. And I'm sure this is how my night will be spent also. Hahah. ;)

Random info.1

Okay sooooooo, I have been playing some coed Vball lately at a facility nearish to me. I love it so much cuz it has a much faster pace than all gals and somehow I am able to keep up. Anywayssss... I just wanted to tell you, over the past 2 days, I have gotten 4 blocks (one was on a men's net) and 3 pancakes and several kills(at least one on a men's net).
You are probably thinking one of three things:
1. What the heck does that mean?!?
Or if you know what I'm talking about...
2. No big deal..
Or if you know what I'm talking about and are newish to he sport-
3. Woah, she's pro.

If the first, no, I will not explain those to you unless you are on the team that I coach.. If the second, your right for some people.. But for me that was a ginormous deal.. Blocks dont happen too often and pancakes are neverrrrr happening. Haha.. So if you thought the third, you are wrong. *burst of laughter* Surprise surprise.. Haha. If I was pro, I woulda gotten picked up by a college a long time ago. ;) besides., I'm not normally this good. Lol.. Just thought I would share because I was super excited about it. Haha..
Anywaysss, I should prob go cuz I need sleep.. But you probably already guessed that.. Haha..

Tough Stuff

Below this comment is the original post.. So I just wanted to let ya know, honestly, I was terrified to put this post up.. I didn't know what people would think of me and only a few people know about this. After I posted this yesterday, I trashed it. Then reposted it, then put a password on it so no one could see it unless they asked... This is hard for me to share because it is still hard for me to even think about.. But I know that God wants me to share what he did in my life and not just keep it to myself. So this one is for him..


Heya guys, so I was thinking.. It is probably about time I told you some of my testimony.. It's alot more than what I feel like writing so you will get the condensed version.
so I was driving home from playing volleyball tonight and heard a song on the radio, I dot remember the name, but the beginning was talking about how this lady was pregnant but the baby wasn't supposed to live long after birth. So the doc asked he what she wanted to do about the baby. He was basically asking her if she wanted to have an abortion. What does this have to do with me? No, in case you were thinking this, I did not have an abortion. I've never even been pregnant! Haha.. Anyways, when my mom was pregnant with me the docs did some tests and found out that I was supposed to have down syndrome. He asked her if she wanted to abort me. She said no. (obviously) and as you can see, I do not have down syndrome. You still may be wondering how this ties in to my testimony, just wait.
When I was around 5 I accepted Jesus into my life as my savior.. But now looking back, I have no clue whether I really understood what I was doing or not..
So anyways, while I was growing up I was (and still am) a daddy's girl. I loved doing things with him whenever I could. He would play games and different sports with me out in the backyard and sometimes we would go on daddy-daughter dates. when I was around 10 he went overseas for the military for around 3 months. He came back and everything was normal again. Then when I was 12 he went to iraq for a while. How long? I don't remember.. Everything around that time gets a bit fuzzy and I don't remember things from home only from school.. He came back and things were different... He had changed somehow. Later I found out that he has PTSD. Post traumatic stress disorder. I didn't and still don't really know what that means other than the fact that he was depressed.. He couldn't really handle being out in public places and he didnt like me or my siblings being loud.. It was that way for around 3 years... I don't remember much then other than whatever was going on at school and that one time he tried to explain to me that he was different because of the war. I kinda understood but still it was very hard on me because I didnt have that same connection with him like I did before. During that time I became depressed also. I kept my emotions to myself.. I became plastic, a fake. I started turning to other guys to try and find that affection that I was missing from my dad. I'm not saying that any of this is his fault.. It was just very hard on me.. It kept on like this for a long while.. When I was 14 I went to a new school. It was hard because I knew no one and had a hard time finding where I fit in.. I was rejected more times than I could count that year.. The next year I had some new friends. Not the right kind of friends, but still they were people that were there for me. One girl I became really close to had problems of her own, similar to mine because her dad wasn't always there for her. I shared my problems with her, she shared hers with me.. We were depressed together. Anyways after Christmas that year I was struggling really hard.. I had just been dumped by my boyfriend. My friends were picking on me, calling me fat, stupid, ect.. It was all in fun but when you hear something so much you begin to believe it. A few days before new years I decided I was going to take my life.. I was in my room and started taking pills.. I got up to around 8 when my mom knocked on my door. I hid them quickly and answered it.. I don't remember what she wanted but I believe that her coming to my room was from God. I don't know if I would have gone thru with it or if I was just trying for some attention but I am glad God intervened. Things were okay for a while. I met a new guy at a new years lock and and we started dating. After valentines day we broke up. That was hard on me again.. I started thinking about suicide again.. On the Wednesday after valentines day I took what was left of my bottle of pills while at school. I think there was only about 12 or so in there.. Nothing happened other than the fact that I was high the rest of the day. But not too long after my parents found some emails hat I had been writing back and forth with a guy I'd met online. They knew kinda what happened and took just about every electronic away and I couldn't go anywhere but church and school. I had a meeting with my youth pastor about it and it was just an all around hard time. After that my parents pulled me out of school and started homeschooling me. The summer after my 10th grade year I re committed my life to Christ and was baptized. Soooo yeah.. That's how I became a real Christian. But while I heard that song tonight it made me realize that even before I was born, the devil has been trying to get rid of me. The only reason I can come up with for that would be because God has something big that he wants me to do for him and the devil just doesn't want it to happen. That just struck me today and really surprised me. Why? I have no clue. God has been telling me all along that he has a plan for my life. I don't know why it didn't click before! Haha.. God is good and I am so grateful that he has saved my life 4 times.. 3 times physically and once spiritually. Thank you God!! :)

Yay....again!!

Soooooo good news again guys!! My travel volleyball team decided to finally pull their act together... We took second at a tournament!! :) and we got medals too! I was so excited! It seems like things are finally looking up for my team! We are finally all playing together. :)





Sooo saddish thing now. My knee has been bugging me for a while now but yesterday was the first time that it had ever hurt while I played volleyball. I went to the doc today and found out that I have the beginning signs of arthritis in my knee.. Not good but hopefully the meds and physical therapy she prescribed will help it and whatever the other thing was that she said was wrong. But anyways I'm just asking for prayer for it so it doesn't affect my play.

Okay so guess what? Oh... wait.. I'll just tell you! I went to a co-ed tournament on monday with my homeschool team.. It was so much fun.. The best part? We took 1st place!!! :D

So here is a pic of us after the tournament. :) I want to put the one of us right after we won up but I have to wait for Joely to send it to me. All we got was a plaque but still... we took first!! :D


I got to spend time with one of my best friends all day too! It was so much fun. :)

Hey guys! So lately I have been feeling very blessed(more than usual) by God. He had given me friends that follow and love him and listen when he wants them to tell me something. Within the past month I have been given several "messages" from him. Mostly what he is telling me to do is to be still and wait on him because he knows what he is doing. I'm waiting but as you probably know by now, I'm not very patient but I'm learning.. Haha. ;) anyways.. I gotta go. God bless and G'night y'all. :)
